i had an expensive day

Well me and my buddies were doing my suspension last night and this morning...i'll start from the beginning. Front passenger side went smoothly took about 45 minutes to put everything in, drivers side started with the axle nut being frozen on, took about an hour to get off w/ a torch and air hammer, axle shaft was siezed in the hub so we took out the front knuckle assembly and put it in a 40 ton press and broke off the mounting tabs ...so now i ordered a new front drivers side axle shaft, new hub and bearing assembly, and finally a new front steering knuckle...all total of about 500 dollars++ and then the back took about 2 hours went on w/ no problem...but it sucks b/c i gotta drive my g/f's pos till wednesday...i'm not the happiest person in the world right now.

2g DSMs have a tendency to have this problem. Hope you guys used some lube putting things back together.

the way i look at it is i will pretty much have a whole new front end on that side of the car...i was talking to the guy at napa when i went to get the hub and bearing assembly and he said it probly rusted itself in there solid and it wasn't the first time he had heard of this happening
