The Elegance and Grand Ascent at Hershey

Well this past weekend I was out in Hershey for work at the Elegance (concourse) and Grand Ascent (hill climb). Snapped a few pics of some of my favorite cars and figured I'd share. All the cars there were amazing in their own way. The elegance cars were of course spotless. Enjoy

Unfortunately, I had no pie while I was out there. Are they supposed to be good at Hotel Hershey?

Its a one off car badged as a Delahaye. It was a tribute built in honor of Frank Lockhart and his Stutz Black Hawk. Lockhart died in 1928 while trying to set a land speed record with the Stutz.

I love the Admiral's 500 Spyder..it is my background image on my phone...I got to sit in it and start it at the Radnor Concourse...the best part about that car is it has a racing heritage (a win at the 12 Hours of Sebring in '57 or '58? [I think]) and the Admiral drove it for many years after he bought it. A truly spectacular car.

This man knows his Ferraris! It was '56 when it won the 12 hour.

You're more than welcome. I'm just lucky I got to see them all in person. Figured some people on here would enjoy them as well.

Wow, I wish I had known about this event. I went to a hillclimb in the Poconos but would have ditched that in favor of this event had I known.

How was the one up in the Poconos? There were about 35 cars on Friday and 60-70 on Saturday doing the hill climb. I got a couple videos from the start line I'll try and post up. Some really cool MG's, Porsche 356's and others. Dick Vermeil and Wayne Carini both did the climb. The Concourse, as you can see, had some insane cars. If you want I can let you know when some other events are coming up. Just let me know what kind you are looking for.

Weatherly had a good turnout but they were the typical hill climb dedicated cars. Nothing fancy like this event brought out. I'd say there was about 40 cars running when combining all of the classes.

If it is automotive I like it! Vintage and classic sportscar stuff is what really does it for me though.

Most of the cars i posted up weren't in the hill climb (obviously haha). I wish I would've taken more of those cars. I think I have a few though so I'll try and get those up. I work the the classic/antique auto industry so I'd say it definitely does it for me as well. I'm very lucky in the sense I get to see amazing cars on a daily basis.

Do you guys work with any classic stuff at r/t at all?
