fair for who? lol.

the morgantown event would require a bit more planning because there are no markings on the parking lot... so people would have to be directed where to park. either way it would be a good time.

I still stand behind my original thought of this only happening once a year. There is already a monthly thing planned for sonic, why not just go to that?

Good point, monthly is more like Morgantown Mini meets, then spring will be the huge one. Im cool with either, 1 big one a year or 2, the one guy is right might lose its splender if we have a few a year like that

Here is the post for the Morgantown Monthly meets if anyone is interested

The problem with yearly is that a lot happens in a years time. People get new cars, new interests, leave the site, etc. Bi yearly you keep the interaction between members up to date and within interest. Just a thought.

But there are still other events to see members. And from what I gather, we gained over 50 members since saturday and only lost LS2GTO...

I dont see a prob with two meets at either Sonic. As far as the monthly meets thats fine but Ill never attend like alot of other people cause of the distance. But, if the end of the summer one is anything like Sat I'd go again.

Friendly Tip - EZ Pass

For those who had to get a ticket and pay cash at the toll booths, I have a better idea. EZ Pass. Now, you say wait a second... doesn't it cost $$$? Well, for some states whether you use it or not, you get charged $1 per month (or some other charge). However, for Delaware, if you choose to get your quarterly statements by e-mail, it doesn't cost you anything to have the EZ pass. As long as you have a credit or debit card tied to it, you are good to go. Now, another good thing is you don't need to live in Delaware to have an EZ pass. You could live in California and have it. I live in PA and have had a Delaware EZ pass for a while now. I rarely use it, since my work vehicle has its own EZ pass on it. So, essentially I pay for what I use. No more, no less. I saw plenty of people waiting at the toll booths to pay, when a few of us skirted right through.

So, head to http://www.ezpassde.com/ fill out the online application, and good time are to be had!

+1... Sonic in march, and then in august, done.... Cancel all the other monthly meets at sonic that will just take away from it all. Their tones of other spots and meets already in place.

Having a second meet 5-6months away wont take anything away from the original meet. Even if only half the cars show up, it'll still be a damn good meet.

Gil, I was going to get an ezpass. But I waited till only a few weeks before the cruise and I was afraid that it wouldnt be here in time. Either way Keith needs one since he goes back and forth from Jersey for work. So I know I will def have one for the next Sonic run.

ehh august is already so busy with other car meets and shows, id say go later in the year like september, even october. that way sonic can be the first and last thing of the year.

all you college students made it this time, why cant you make it next time?

plus, if a few less people show up, would it really be that bad?

It was spring break. What meets make august so busy? I don't care how many people show, even half of what ephrata was would be fine.

I like this being an annual meet also. It makes it bigger and better every time. If it happens like twice a year people will decide to miss one or the other because there is another one they could go to later.

I should have posted this advice WAY before the meet. A lot of people say, why should I get EZ pass when I have to pay just to keep it? Delaware's version eliminates that. I think the better thing to do would be to just sell them for $25 and be done with it (and have tolls tied to my credit card). It works like that for Sunpass - the state of Florida's system. I had one there. When I moved away, I just gave it to my father. If I move back, I'll take it from him! Susie, were you planning to get one from Delaware or some other state?
