Brake pads AND rotors, spark plugs, fuel filter, oil change, etc. etc.
If it's something seriously wrong with my car, I don't have time to dick around and have something either get ****ed up or take it somewhere and then have someone realize they can't fix what I need fixed. So, hence me going to the shop, though I know I'm paying out the ass for it. I know I could easily have the brakes, oil, etc. done by someone I know..but if something is REALLY wrong with my engine, I'd rather have it done at the shop.

Plugs would be hard, especially if she hasn't changed them in awhile, i'd hate to see one of them break off inside heads...i'd spray them with pb blaster and let them soak overnight cuz i doubt they put antisieze stuff on there.

The guy said the spark plugs were $19 a pop..I dunno..
And yeah, I've been driving for quite some time without getting the pads replaced so I imagine the rotors are at least somewhat warped.

i wouldn't ever take my car to a shop because not only do they rip you off, they could care less about your car so they do everything half assed. not all shops, but a lot of them.
