Well you can argue the weight issue all you want. For a 300HP stock car it is A LOT of weight. But if you take into account that the brand new GTR weighs as much as a 3/S it kind of makes you question if weight really is that much of a factor.

Weight is a con, but look at most American cars. They are overweight as well, enough hp will make a car move bottom line.

I am thankful some one else feels that way about the skyline. I like the GT-R alot, they are excellent cars. I don't feel like they are from the same heart as the r32,33, and 34 though. Those cars to me were a class apart, their handling, exterior, and endless possiblities were just on a whole other level. GT-R's are great, but they are not the same as what an r35 should be.

Nope, definitely just as good. All of the cars you are comparing the 3S to have had decades of models to build a following.

Nissan's Z car has been around since the late 60s. 1969 was the first Fairlady if memory serves me correctly. Supras were first sold in 1979 and RX-7s in 1978. So you're wondering why a model with only 11 years of production time (1990 - 2001) is more underrated than cars that have had a history of ~30 years?

The reason it's underrated is because people who are in the market to buy 90s Japanese muscle (middle aged) are going to buy models they are familiar with, not the "new kid on the block."

I love the fd's and always wanted an ls1 swapped one, but I just picked up a 97 stealth lmao. The price was right and I like challenges. Any car can be nice as long as you don't over do it.

Except that those are real regamasters, which are some of the most expensive wheels you can buy, the car has massive front and rear diffusers, and the wing isn't pep-boys.
