It's not so much the weather that bothers me, it's that my heated seats (ftw!) decided not to turn on this morning (ftl!) and that people automatically seem to lose 40 IQ points in any type of percipitation while driving.

That was Tim Aldrich's car from FL. He was big in the scene down there and really well liked and respected. He was 30 years old when he died in his sleep from what was suspected to be a really bad tooth infection that spread to his bloodstream, but I don't believe an autopsy was ever done on his corpse.

Tim had always said that in the event of his death he didn't want his car to be sold to some fanboy just to have them mess it up and would've rather seen it crushed. So when he passed his friends removed the motor to pay for some of the costs of his funeral and assorted things and then had the car crushed. As you can see they were all there sending both Tim and his car into the after life.

This is a quote from Tim's closest friend that was posted on another forum.

I can only hope that you dudes would do something awesome with my car in the event of my untimely passing.

<3.
That's excellent on alot of levels that his friends respected his last wishes. Life is a fragile thing, it doesn't take much to upset the balance. It's also kind of rad that his best bud is one "y" away from being Tyler Durden, for any of you Fight Club fans out there.

For what it's worth, after having worked in the funeral industry for a while, autopsies are funny situations: If there is any suspected foul play or strange circumstances or sudden death, usually that decedent is taken right to the local Medical Examiner, where the head tech will make the call as to whether or not they make the cut (no pun intended). Depending on the state laws, though, the family can elect to skip the process if the decedent had some type of prevailing condtion. Also, the details of an autopsy, even those of whether it was preformed or not, are generally not public knowledge and at the family's discretion to realease.
Likely, a blood sample told the M.E. that some sort of septic (blood poisioning) condition was prevalent in his body and the conclusion was drawn from the blood to pathogen ratio in the sample. We're talking like 10,000 patholigical cells to 10 red and white blood cells.

That's all speculation on my part, but it's more of an educated guess than anything. In case anyone was curious.

RIP for an obviously rad guy.

Yeah, man! I knew I spotted that panda on here somewhere a while ago, but couldn't remember where; is that one of his?
Banksy represents everything I love about grafitti and street art, and he still manages to keep himself realitively annonomous and is still going to this day.

Sounds like whoever is crushing that 240 isn't at all troubled by a tragic death.

Your theory seems to be inline with what his friends accepted as the cause of death.

I believe that they passed on the Autopsy as no foul play was expected, apparently he just passed on in his sleep.

In any case, should I ever pass on before my time, I would like to request the following be done with my Chariot... errrr 240.

Should my younger brother be of legal age to own a vehicle, I would like him to receive it, and for one of you duders to teach him the radness of the Drift.

If that cannot be arranged, I would like the car dismantled and the parts given/sold to only those who have proved their radness and the shell destroyed.
