getting older has its perks..

having a good insurance guy helps as well.

I send doug and email now and then, he does the leg work.

I save tons.

i'm with progressive now, at 194 monthly with full coverage on the vette. i'll be just over $150 monthly for the vette and a daily beater once we get my new policy all finished. I'll be 23 tomorrow with a rough driving history.

I pay $81/month each on 4 vehicles ($1900ish/6months) through Progressive. Use to have Geico, and I hated them... terrible terrible terrible claim services. Don't even get me started... my husband and I decided to go to Progressive, and our policy went down $1000 for the 6 month policy, to a little over $2000 at that time. Since then our 3 tickets have dropped off, we got married, and we added another car, and the rate keeps dropping. I keep $500 deductibles on all cars, with full coverage on all of them. Haven't had to do any claims, but so far I'm pleased. Anytime I've called them the person on the phone has been very friendly and knowledgeable and knew how to do their job and answer my questions, which is all I care about. Took me all of about 2 minutes to add my Supra onto the policy over the phone.

I also carry State Farm on another car of mine. It's more expensive, but the agent has been dealing with my mom and I for over ten years now and I've had good service so I keep that policy around (plus Progressive won't let me add a 5th car to a policy). The claims experiences I've had have been good, and they always offered to replace with OEM parts, not aftermarket.

i switched from Progressive to Gieco back in the beginning of the year. I was paying around $110 a month for just my Integra with Progressive covered with comprehensive.

When I switched to Gieco I now pay around $90 for my Integra covered for comprehensive AND my cavalier covered for basic liability.

esurance is insurance agent as well, they will search over x amount of companies and get you the best rate and stamp their name on it.

i only know this because i called them due to the Lancer Evolution X was not in the list of cars on the web site.

my insurance went up to 266/month for the gt, srt and truck i was on the phone with a chick who did the quote and she was trying to prepare me for the number... "now keep in mind... blah blah blah... blah blah blah blah blah" by the time she told me the price i was expecting something horrible like $500/month , she said $266 and i just laughed.

i'm with nationwide, been with them since i bought the srt new in 05. that price is without the discount from being a member of the credit union and for having etched windows... i need to finalize it all with the actual agent and not this chick, who sounded kinda cute so i'mma go there on saturday to finalize it all haha

NJ insurance is horrible =/
I often wonder how some people can afford insurances when sometime the premium is higher than their car monthly payments...
