Honestly the best TM for our cars is the Process West TMIC. I have one and it's well worth the money. The FMS knockoff is ok from what I've heard, but if you have the $ get the PW. The Perrin and Avo ic's don't fit 100% so I've heard. Let me know if you need more info.

i was gonna come in here and comment, but greg pretty much nailed it on the head. The process west is top notch from everything I've heard. I have the knockoff made by fms and have zero problems with it and its about half the price ( i paid about 450, it goes on sale a lot). Mine was %100 perfect fitment, with no leaks so i can't complain and they have good customer service as well. BUT, If you have the money...go process west. (or in my case i couldn't wait the extra month or so for it to be back in stock )

Any other tmic is not worth it

i was leaning towards the process west TMIC, do you get a noticeable difference from it since we have basically have the same set-up?

So the FMS compared to process west, I am assuming it's just a matter of quality?

Basically, and seriously my fms is perfect in every way except for one tiny spot in a weld on the end tank that is blown out. Like I said, no leaks tho so I can't complain.

edit: i guess its worth mentioning also that i got mine coated in black from them, and the coating is definitely low quality. Scratches easily and just overall not high quality. Just another reason to go PW if you have the money

I can't really answer that for you since I did the intercooler, plugs, and ebcs all at the same time. What I can tell you is that it NEVER gets hot. I did some hard driving when I first got it (August - hot and humid), popped the hood after, and the turbo side was slightly warm and the throttle body side was cool as can be. It really does it's job well. HIGHLY recommended.

I believe that the quality of materials used is a lot less on the FMS. If you have the extra cash get the PW.

You can tell the difference in quality just by looking at these pictures

FMS:

It is crazy how cool the cool side of the intercooler stays, they definitely do their job. And how much of a difference did you notice when you insallted all of those parts and did the stage 3 tune? I already have the grimspeed ebcs, and spark plugs are getting delivered by santa, I'm just waiting for Deatschwerks to release their damn fuel pump!

I don't want to thread jack, but the combination of those mods (minus fuel pump which I'm also waiting for the DW pump) and the TP stage 3 map was a good bump from TP stage 2. It's noticeably faster when going WOT. It pulls hard as **** all the way to red line, unlike stage 2 which kind of fell on it's face toward the upper RPMs. The other thing is with the ebcs you get great response when going partial throttle, because of the decrease in spool time. It's really great for driving around town, because you don't have to really go hard on the gas to get moving. Also, it's nice on the highway in 5th, just push down a little and you get moving pretty quick.

Hope that makes sense haha.

If you have any more questions just PM me

I can give more positive feedback on the Process West TMIC. I have it and the CAI on my 06. I have pics if you want but i don't want to spam on your thread lol. The welds are perfect and it fits like a glove without modifying anything to make it fit.

Excellent, I was checking out the process west on rally sport direct . com and it does look like it is well made. I think I'm gonna go with that one, thanks everyone for your input!!

Talk to Daniel at Boston Motorsports. He'll give you a good price and fast shipping. RSD doesn't budge on price.
