Ive always started mine as soon as I sat in the car. I then buckle up, release the e-brake, and put it in 1st or Reverse and take off. I keep it under 3,000 RPM till it is up to about 1/2 of the normal temp...

Same here.....I just don't feel comfortable driving my car until it's warmed up especially since I have to hit boost to drive down Route 322 doing 60MPH

i usually don't let it warm up... since the oil pump is based off of the timing belt it's better to start driving to build oil pressure and pump it all up top before engine wear starts IMO don't want a dry turbo idling up there with no oil but i don't run it hard until it reaches temp.

Here in PA, about 5 minutes. Or however long it takes me to finish a cigarette. Back in AK, bout 10-15 minutes.
