I think every move the phillies have made so far are well warranted..they are dumping large salaries to old players for good young prospects that will be paid considerably less which leaves them room to rebuild which they so badly need. dumping abreu alone was 15mil because they paid him 1.5 mil to dump his no trade clause. i think pat gillick is making moves that ed wade should have made a long time ago. soon enough lieberthal will be gone so thats another ~10mil they wont be shelling out. i'm def glad they finally started moving people around and making waves in the clubhouse.

Yeah now I'm definetly thinking the Phils have a chance. Even though they have a lot of teams to pass they are only 4 1/2 back which is all that matters.

If they play the way they did liast night they can win the wildcard, lasts nights game was good if they only pitched and played like that all the time. baseball is crazy you never know what can happen so you cant give up.

Its been fun to watch them the last few games, if they can play like this for most of the rest of season who knows what could happen. This next series against the mets will really show what they got, i think they take them if they continue there hot hitting and great bullpen.
