I am in, just need some time in advance to take off work. His mom chipping in for food and such is good, but I think we(as a whole) should definitely help out too.

If this is at GV I will def be out. I didnt know him but from what ive heard he seems like a pretty good guy.

I spoke to my friends at Nice Racks BBQ. I am pretty sure that they will be able to particate in this event by making some pulled pork sliders and some ribs for the gang. They should also be able to cook any of the donated burgers and hotdogs that anyone might bring.

Instead of each person who donates food then worrying about getting it grilled and served, it can all be done in one area.

Has anyone discussed a date yet? It sounds like Good Vibes might be the location? It is a really nice facility with plenty of room for cars and people. Chris and his group are very genrous to offer.

I just messaged Chris @ G.V. about the picking out of a date...keep eyes peeled here for a date and 'angdefeo' that food donation would be INCREDIBLE and EXTREMELY appreciated!

After you figure out a date with Chris, pm with the details and an expected head count. I will coordinate with the bbq folks. We will need a little lead time to make sure we have the pulled pork ready. Its about 12 hours cooking time on the smoker.

Hopefully there will be other food donated and we will gladly cook it off the day of the event.

I have a wedding to be at on the 9th on Lancaster, so unfortunately, I'm only a "maybe" at this point. If I can't make it, I'd love to help out with food or supplies anyways. James, maybe if you wanted to put together a PP account for donations to defer costs of food or something?

I'm in, will be there. I will offer the same as I did last year for his R32, if it's still around. If they can get it to GV a few days before, I'll do it up just as promised before, that is of course if the family still has it. Which is clearly not to my knowledge at this point, just want to offer it!
