A friend of mine is a cop in Middletown, I'll check with him to see if they'd have a problem

I'd also like to propose a weekly bar meet over the winter... Thursday nights as normal but finding a spot inside to go to and hang out, or even go to different locations each week if thats what the group wants. For the winter at least it just seems like a better environment (for those over 21 at least). Since it is a 21+ thing, we can still do an outdoor meet once a month.

I'd propose that we have a MONTHLY meet over the winter... once a month whether its the first or last thursday of the month, or whatever. Less time standing out in the cold and it should get a better showing since its a little less frequent. We will also have an easier time meeting somewhere if its not as frequent. And dont forget it will give everyone more time to miss each other so we'll be completely drama-free (ha!).
Neshaminy Mall, Manny Brown's...big enough bar to hold a nice sized group...a TST member works there (Stefan, used to have the yellow Evo, little wing), I know the entire staff...so I could see about a TST special possibly. This could also keep the high schoolers out that just like to start trouble.

The only problem with that is that the cops already associate these locations with the racing that goes on in Philly..so that may get us kicked out real fast being a large group

It's a good location with a large parking lot...I don't see this as being a bad idea.

Some of the parts of the lot are owned by the anchors (Sears, AMC etc) and the other parts are owned by the mall itself, but it should be simple to figure out if tst meets are approved. This is also farther south for people in DE/NJ and philly. I liked FW because it was like 2 miles from my house down 332, but i'd be willing to go farther for the meets to work. I know we may be able to meet by the sears auto place where we met for the scavenger hunt, but only if the mall & sears gives the OK. Could you check it out since your TEH head honcho & such? Hope this helps!

P.S. I think it might be wise to start enforcing a no burnout/engine rev rule at the more sensitive meet locations?
I'm sure if we went to Manny Brown's, there wouldn't be a problem...not to mention, in the summer months, they have an outdoor patio for us to hang out.

and thanks to those who have made strides to pursue a new location. its not like we need to find something tomorrow, so i hope nobody is stressing out here. i'd rather take my time and find a great spot than put energy into finding a just ok spot right away.
I have a few places to check out and I'll get back to you in a PM with the details when I get to talk to some people.

The owner is my neighbor. I could walk to those meets, I still vote on Manny's though. I just need to talk to Jeff about drink specials and such. I'm sure they'd love to have our business. There is also an area that the underage crowd could sit at too...

I dont know why this happened, but an assumption will lead to this following statement.

I would like to thank the select few douchebags doing burnouts, redlining their engines, speeding, and blasting music for getting us kicked out.

^^^It might not even have fully been the burnouts and sh*t. Coulda been the fact that people that actually came into the lot to go to the stores there had no place to park... And who knows... they coulda felt uncomfortable parking there anyway bc of the huge amounts of people....

Boy, that's kinda creepy. I guess it would have been.
haha... ok, anyone wanna talk about the fact that im psychic? Maybe I can use my new abilities to find a nice meet spot, lol...

I'm +1 for the neshaminy mall meets... plus if we met near the sears area, its kind of hidden from that main road in front of the mall right? So most cops wouldnt drive by and feel the need to come in, (yet im sure word would get around to them eventually that we were there)... But a mall is like the perfect spot, the lot is so big that no customer could b*tch they had no place to park, but the mall would also close around 930 im assuming so thered be no place to eat (and no toliets besides the theater) thats within a few feet walking distance...

Valley Billiard Hall sounds good too, i'd have +1 for that IF it wasn't farther from me than FW

The theater has open bathrooms till midnight at least on most nights, plus right on horizon blvd is a red robin open till 11, and i'm pretty sure they do take-out orders. There's also a 99, but i'm not sure when they close, and there's also a target which i think closes at 10, they have a small cafe area where you can buy food, but it has odd hours. On the other side from manny brown's there is a cold stone creamery, and inside is a dunkin donuts also right there, and a subway etc. I'm sure the mall closing at 9:30 won't be a problem, as aren't the meets 7-10 anyways? This would make meeting for movies a lot easier as well. Up to brian i guess if he wants to persue making that work. The manager at the mall sounded pretty reasonable. There's also that old closed down building that used to be a grocery store, i think it's an auto auction lot now, could we meet there, and who do we contact about that? The fact that the mall is right off route 1 would make it easier to find as well. Hmmm.

Oh no, I don't wanna park there, those yuppies might jump me! People are retarded. Well the real loser here is Fresh Works as they'll no longer get our business.

We arn't welcome at the Red Robin . When we say food though we mean like in walking usually.

Ok, well, they are still open till 11. There will also be a starbucks near there, not sure if it's open yet though. There are also some other places right near the mall that are open till at least 10 pm for food. Not only that, but the mall itself has food venues open till 9:30 at least. Not saying the meet should be at red robin, but people can still eat there. Manny Brown's is a good option too for food. I guess we all just have to wait till Brian decides what the next move is. Meeting at Brian's sounds workable.

People really go there around 7? I'd say, from the times that i've gone and it hasn't rained, people usually hang out til 10:30ish... And esp in the cold i don't feel like walking 1/2 a mile to get something to drink, or driving either. I'd rather it just be right next to us, thats all i was saying is that thats one downside to the mall.

But screw that, its the mall, i'll just go shopping

You don't really need TROLL's approval. Simply do what we have done: Create a new thread with info about your meet. Try it out and see how it works out! The meet that works out well will continue and the others will die out fast. That is how every one of our meets have evolved so far!
