Look at Black Hawk Down in Mogadishu. Look at all the civilians that were trying to fight there with no formal experience.
The US lost what? 19 men? They sustained thier position with little support and bare essentails taken into combat for over 18 hours.
The Somalis lost OVER 1,000. You don't think the Somalis had weapons familiarization/experience? They hunt with AK-47's. They had technicals with .50 cals. But they're unorganized and too proud to act as a team.

That is what I'm talking about. Anything unorganized gets crushed. So yeah, go ahead with your drinking buddy and your .22 and pit yourself up against a well trained and sustained fighting force and see how long you last. I'm glad all the ego's here are more important then use'n the brain God gave you.

I never did get in to paint ball. Wouldn't that give me more skills if I did though? And can I use my pellet guns instead of the .22? What about a .17?

Civilians caused 19 casualties, or are you stating something else? Because I would say that if we got invaded, 19 enemy casualties is better then zero. Look at the Spartans! They initially lost and got completed wiped out, but the casualties they caused (very small in percentage) caused Xerxes and his forced to ease up and be scuuuuuuuured. My math might not be the greatest, but 19>0. Right?

I agree with what you say, I just don't see the need to get so gun-hoe about your point. Christ, relax, would you. We all get it, your experience=you are better then all of us, no need to rub it in! Thanks for pointing out that my spelling sucks. I spell checked this message, and there were a few grammar flags, so please don't point them out ;) and relax. If I really thought public service was stupid I wouldn't have been a volly whacker for so long, and I've personally shook the hands of every new guy/girl that is hired at my detective agency when I see they have served in the military.

Speaking of which, i'm most afraid of the Army Ranger that I work with, and he's only about 5'6". Choke someone out with your left arm while favoring a ripped bicep in your right. Youch.

If we actually got invaded I would join the air force and try and be a pilot. I was actually studying for the AFOQT. But I spoke to a few friends in the military and went up to willow grove reserve base and talked to a pilot and they all said that even if I got accepted by the board into a Pilot spot, passed OTS and made it through undergrad pilot training I would still not be guaranteed a spot in flight school. I could still be switched into another non-flying officer position if a spot wasn't open.

Apparently as civilians we would plan to drive up to a fortified bunker with a pickup truck and fire a few rounds that would instantly hit all the soldiers in the forehead. :-)

I especially liked the model that they used for the planning of the attack. Even looking at the model I was like "damn, that tower is a long way away".

However the biggest question this raises is where did they get the matchbox cars from...
