you need to look at the stock quotes. XM is around $35/share and predicted to hit 42 in a year. Sirius is $7/share and predicted to be $7 in a year, not to mention the loses Sirius posts quarterly get bigger and bigger. Granted some of that might turn around when Stern comes on, but they still need to pay his HALF BILLION DOLLAR salary. We'll see who's around in 10 years.
I guess we'll see. Im still standing by my view that Sirius will outshine XM in the future. Stern is gonna be a huge bump to the stats. Im definitely bias though, Im a Stern fan and I dont like O & A at all. It would be incredible if they ever did merge, endless possibilities.

.......and who said Stern was supposed to be funny? Shock(jock) doesnt mean funny. It has its times when they are funny, but mostly they are lewd and perverted..........which i personally prefer

silver...i agree partialy w/ your statement... but i'm still putting my eggs into sirius... for many different reasons... not just corporate...but cust. service and support...and basically everything... For an individual who has dealt with both companies... i feel much more comfortable with sirius having my money than XM... although today (7.2.05) sirius went down .20...and yesterday they went up 14...but i'm in this one for a longer term...

either way... there are 2 ways to look at digital radio...

in the future there will be very little fm/am broadcasts...way future...and everything will be digitial/sat... like the 8-trak...cd.... vhs - > dvd... that type of thing...

or it could be something that doesnt catch on...but frankly... i think satellite providers have caught on and now it just takes time for them to build first the rapport with the majority of the public... and for companies to get situated...

i'm hoping it will keep rising...obviously....

invest where you will... we'll see who is richer in 6 months...a year... 2... so be it
