So I bought a set of winter tires and they have just been sitting in my shed waiting to go on. I feel like I wasted a bunch of money. Its supposed to be 65 tomorrow! I want to put them on but as I understand it, if the temp is over a certain degree its bad for them since they are made to drive in cold conditions. The money could have been much better spent on performance mods or some HID's!

Hey you think I want to go back on my 16's just yet either? I just spent 600 on snow tires also. Im glad I dont need them yet though

I am glad it's as warm as it is. I am still rolling on my 18s. My friend has my 15s until he is able to pick up new tires for himself.

I don't see why anyone would spend that much money on snow tires for the 5-6 days of the year there is to much snow to drive a normal car.

I for one am freakin happy as hell the weather is like this. I hate the cold so freakin much. However, its not so much global warming as people think. The earth just goes through cycles, and right now its on the warmer end of it. Yes global warming is a problem im not denying that, but its not this dramatic yet

I just want cold so it can snow so I can go snowboarding. You warm lovers have months of the year us cold lovers get 4, if that. Its time for cold dammit!

actually I think the world tempurature goes up like one degree every year or something like that which is pretty crazy

Its more like 1/100 of a degree or lower. Since the mid 1800's the average earth temp has gone up roughly 1 degree. It is rising, but one degree of change in a year, every year would be insanely drastic, think The day after tomorrow.

Im always up for riding. I just went to Killington for a day trip on tuesday, thats a rough ride, but worth it. I was going to start a "snowboard meet" thread but with this weather I dont feel like goign to the poconos just yet. Once it looks like its going to get cold and stay cold long enough to improve the conditions up there Ill start it.
