I blame the weather. Who would want to bring their nice cars out when the roads are salt-covered and have two inches of snow on 'em? ****, my VR-4 hasn't left the garage all winter. So of course you're going to see the quality of cars diminish because people will drive the cars they care less about, i.e. daily drivers. I, for one, can't wait for this goddamn winter to end to I can start driving the VR-4 again.

Florida and Texas have FAST cars at meets. How many FAST cars come to meets here? One? Two? Carver and that blue parachute wielding evo?

The weather is an obvious reason at this time, but I meant in general throughout the years. It's just not what it used to be 5-10 years back.

Oh yea. I definitely agree with you there. If you witnessed the OG BB meet when it was back in Cherry Hill, you'd be even more disappointed. The meet only got 50-80 cars per night, but they were all quality cars.

Regardless of the subject, I hear this same line about literally everything I've ever known.

I agree a meet and a show are two extremely different things.

Alot of fast cars aren't meet cars. My friend leaves his nova and trans am home and instead drives his jeep to meets. Meets aren't about speed out here. Most people dont care about anything after is it s/c, t/c, oh cool, and thats all. Most people at meets just arent knowledgeable enough where its worth bringing out something.

First off, the meets are the same anywhere you go. Just because you see pictures on a car forum from a west coast meet or some media coverage of a meet or what ever, your not getting the big picture. People take pictures of cars they like and nice cars. You guys have to get real, there are 16-18 year old kids everywhere in the US not just the east coast. The average salary for a 16-20 year old kid is not a lot. Thus these kids cant afford to modd cars to XXXXHp or have extra stretch on volks or what ever your definition of a nice or sick car is. so they get rice buckets or what ever they can afford and do dumb **** with them.

Also idiots are everywhere not just in the tristate area, you just don't see that when you look at pictures from car meets that are 4000 miles away.

Take our Big Ass Best Buy meet for example, it had a **** load of rice and a **** ton of nice cars, But who took pictures of the ****ty cars, Ito? Ciotti? I think nobody, so people from cali might get the idea that damn nice cars show up to that meet and its huge. People on the east coast must all have sick ****. Also how many kids from Cali know that a girl got slammed be her ex at our car meet? or a kid got hit by a honda? Nobody cause they arn't locals. You just have to look at things as a realest.

Everywhere is better than home right?

We all suck.

We all "build" lame cars that aren't actually built.

If someone "built" a truly awesome car, he would inspire a generation.

Depends on your definition of built, my friend.

To me, this is built:

Everyone is inspired by something different. I have my inspiration but you might not find the build worthy.

True well I am hoping that at street wars some of you are slightly impressed by my car. I have been working on it for 3 years but going to school and sports have made it hard to afford parts. Does anyone from here go to central/north jersey meets ?

To me, that's modified. The car was bought, then modified.

When I think of "building" a car, raw materials come to mind.
