need some advice on detailing my car.

Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

sleepersatty99 Tri-State Addict Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Mayfair Member #4142 My Ride: 99 saturn sl2 iTrader: (0)	need some advice on detailing my car. ok so im not sur eif this is in the right section but if its not mods please move.thanks. ok well i want to detail me car inside and out and under the hood. my car hasnt had a wax job in god knows how long. what do you guys suggest using a buffer or by hand and what product would you guys recommend? also i need to do the seats and rugs too. What/how would you guys suggest? most of the stuff i have used to do this never worked. also i want to clean my engine and im not sure or even know what to begin with this. i know i should protect my coil packs but do i need to take the wires off? and i know i need to protect my tb. but is there anything else i should be aware of? and what product should i use? thanks for the help. __________________ Im like a rubber band i always bounce back To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater.
