Sprint phone rant!

Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

wheresmycar Tri-State Addict Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: Philadelphia Member #5863 iTrader: (1)	Sprint phone rant! What the hell? My phone has had no service on my treo 650 and for 2 days now. Why couldn't they use sim cards! Off to the sprint repair store tomorrow. Regular sprint store has no idea whats wrong since everything is set properly. I've paid over $100 in insurance already and this is going to be the 2nd time bringing the phone in. 1st time it took 1 hour on a waiting list just to hand them my phone.
