Oil smell from EJ20

Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

Crashed_Again Tri-State Training Wheels Join Date: Feb 2008 Location: West Chester, PA Member #7000 My Ride: 04' WRX 308 WHP iTrader: (1)	Oil smell from EJ20 My 04 WRX EJ20 has had what I think is oil blow-by for some time. I think it is related to the turbo from what I have read but some insight would be helpfull. I am running an FP18G at 17 PSI and the performance is great so I do not think it is wear. Would an oil catch can correct some of this issue or should I just live with the smell?
