Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

db8integra Tri-State Aficionado Join Date: Oct 2007 Member #6153 My Ride: 92 civic hatch iTrader: (0)	tristate vs other forums Im doing a sociology project on car culture. I was hoping to get your opinions on local forums (like tst) vs the other forums. What do you think the differences are in how people act, and why do you think this is? Id share my own opinion but i dont want to influence yours, besides i would guess that most of you would say about the same. Also if you have any opinions on car specific forums vs general automotive forums. and what the hell if you want to talk about domestic vs import thats great too. so what im looking for is how people act towards each other and why. thanks
