Homework Help needed (MS Excel)
Hey everyone,
I'm trying to make an equation that I insert in a cell on MS Excel, but I'm not sure what to type in or if I have to use some sort of solver. What I need to do is if a certain cell, let's say A1, is less than or equal to 62,500, insert the number '1'. If cell A1 is between 62,501 and 125,000, insert the number '2'. If cell A1 is between 125,001 and 187,500, insert the number '3'. I only need it to go up to 3. Can anyone tell me what the equation is I need in order to make that happen or what sort of tool I need to use to do that? Thanks! -Jesse BTW, I'm using Excel 2003 if it makes a difference. |
