Update: 10/24/06:
I just got news that we are no longer allowed to meet at Fresh Works. This meet has been cancelled.

There was no single event that caused this, just something that had been building up over time. We had a pretty good run there especially considering the regular traffic through the area and the size of our group. I'm just happy we made it through the warm months and now we have the cold months to figure out a plan for next spring.
Please spread the word to everyone you know because we are no longer welcome to meet there... if you do show up you will be asked to leave immediately so save everyone the trouble and just don't show up.
Be sure to tell your friends who aren't already on TST to check the Upcoming Events section on here for a new plan sometime in the future, because we'll be sure to figure out a solution by the time the temps are bearable again.

Okay guys here is the info on the meeting spot. Please thank dolphinS4 for letting us use his place of business for us to meet on Thursdays! Meets are still from 7:00PM-10:00PM and there is no alcohol being served at this place of business. Please contribute by buying food/drinks and hanging out!

Update from Mike at Freshworks:

A little background info first. This center is owned and managed by a very large, multi-national real estate company that happens to have their local office on site in the back of the center.

Thought everyone would like to know I had a conversation with the shopping center facilities manager the other day. He informed me that someone had brought to his attention that a large gathering was taking place in the lot every Thursday night.

Well, he decided to check it out last week and see for himself what was going on in his lot. He showed up around 8 o'clock and proceeded to walk around the lot and get a feel for what was going on. He was pleasantly surprised!! He stated that he did not witness any excessive speeding, littering, or general mis-behaving by anyone in attendance.

He has asked me to implement one simple change to the parking scenario though. He would like to see all participants leave the first 4 spaces closest to the shopping center vacant for any patrons of the center at least until 10 o'clock PM.

I told him I would pass it along to the group and get it done for him. Since I have been pre-occupied the last couple of Thursday and have not been able to attend the meet, I felt posting would be the best way to convey this message. If anyone observes someone parking in the first 4 spaces, I would appreciate it if you could kindly inform them of what we are trying to accomplish. I realize we are not going to get 100% compliance overnight, but if we get the word out it'll happen soon enough.

So, congratulations to TST for impressing a hard to impress property manger and keep it up!

Rules (Taken from TROLL): Do not speed anywhere around the meeting spot, or rev your engine unnecessarily. Messing around of any sort will get you kicked out permanently... we are very strict about this because as we all know one punk can ruin it for everyone. The Northampton PD is located across the street so any type of extra attention drawn to yourselves would be a very dumb idea.

Hint for Directions: If you are coming from Street Road once you turn onto Bustleton Pk. the road is going to split (right around the Burger King). If you stick to the left lane you are golden, if you happen to get caught in the right lane then you will end up on Buck Rd. See map below

To my knoweledge as of right now people are meeting at Absoulte Steakhouse to bring the people who are not familiar with the area to the new location. If you have any problems with these maps on finding the place PM me because I am from the area and can give you exact directions from Street Road.
