Which screen for photo editing? Macs worth it?

Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

djb5118 Tri-State Post Whore Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: Seattle, WA Member #5884 My Ride: SC300 iTrader: (0)	this is true, but if something does go bad, its worth it... when i wrecked my computer, apple said it would be $1200 to fix... the certified repair place up here quoted me $600 (apple just assumed **** was broken). So basically, after buying applecare, i saved $350 on a huge repair...still well worth it imo. you could just take the risk and not get it, but i think it would be a bad decision, especially for college
