Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

specVogel Tri-State Addict Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: your mama's house, starting a small fire in her panties Member #712 My Ride: 02 Nissan Sentra Spec 5 iTrader: (0)	just got promoted thats right i was just informed that i will become one of the three team leaders at my shop. i've been working at my volvo dealership for five and a half years. and considering i am half the age of the rest of the techs(22) its a great honor. with the extra responsibility of fixing trouble cars and helping the other techs on my team i will probably be making 18-20 dollars an hour, which is sweet because i average 70 hours a week flat-rate. thanks for listening to my rant, i am just so excited.
