Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

Well i have just got home from island dragstrip. While on my last run i noticed that i had no power steering. So i figured **** it, I can still drive home. I get to the pit area pop my hood and notice my other belt is gone too. Now that belt runs my altenator (spelling sorry) and my water pump. Well i couldn't leave it there so i drove it from great meadows nj back to walnutport pa. It didn't over heat. I didn't lose power. The car ran fine and dandy execpt for the power steering up course. My question is how the hell did that work like how did it not over heat. What could have gone wrong. Thanks. __________________ LVDSM IS THE BEST!!
