Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

WRXD Tri-State Post Whore Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: SEPA Member #1156 My Ride: 2013 Ford Focus ST iTrader: (0)	General Warning: Never spill 75w90 gear oil on yourself Just a general warning---I was changing the rear differential oil in an s2000 yesterday, dropped the open bottle it hit the ground and splashed all over me. Now if you have never smelled redline 75w90ns, it smells like rotten eggs. I figured I would just throw my clothes in the washer- BAD IDEA. Now my washing machine and my entire house smell like 75w90 and the clothes smell no better than they did before. I think I am probably going to have to throw them away.
