My F150 that burned up in 2003

Stumbled across the pictures of my F150 that caught on fire in my driveway back in 2003. I was having ongoing electrical problems, coil packs failing and other ignition related problems. Every time I took it to the dealer, they said they fixed it and then another pack would fail. Finally I was coming home late on night, about 2:30am, and the truck began to run like crap again. I was only about a mile from my house, so I drove it home and proceeded to back into my driveway at which time I noticed a flicker of a flame between the hood and the windshield. I shut the truck off and called 911, grabbed my garden hose and tried to fight it. The fire co arrived and got it under control and put it out. Fire inspector came out and almost immediately determine it was an electrical by the way the wiring harness melted. The case just settled last month out of court. Ford Motor Company and the Dealer that serviced my truck the day it burned up agree to pay back my insurance co and me my deductible.
