Installing Underglow

I just picked some up off of an Ebay store for $50 shipped, got them today. They look like they will work nicely, but putting them in I'm not too sure. I have a friend who is going to install them with me this week, but I'd really like to see the lights all lit up now. I'm sure I can do it, and if I can't, my neighbor is an electrician in the summer plus his dad owns a shop.

So would you guys suggest installing this on my own, and what would you suggest while doing this?
