Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

ScubaSteve Tri-State Addict Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Montgomery County Member #2599 My Ride: 1993 s13 coupe Ka-t; 2005 Legacy GT Ltd iTrader: (1)	Broad St parking I didn't post this in ask the law because anyone can really answer it and I don't think we have a regular posting there anymore. I go to Temple and I brought my car on sunday so I could drive home for summer on Tuesday. I found a spot infront of the 1940 dorm building, on Broad st. Today I was walking to the gym and saw a ticket saying that I was illegally parked because it was posted that I couldnt park between 4pm-6:30. There are no signs anywhere in the area I parked in that state this violation. Its a $41 fine that I don't agree with but I don't want to go to a hearing without a shot. So is it illegal to park on Broad from 4-6 even if its not posted? The last thing is that the fine is for "stopping prohibited" which is a $41 fine. I was clearly parked there and not just stopping which would be "parking prohibited" a $31 fine.
