question about a warning I got
I just got a warning for having yellow headlights, no big deal. After I was given the warning, the officer asked me if i have ever gotten a warning before. I told him I did (for other offences) and he told me that he was not going to turn in his copy and more less he only pulled me over because another officer radio'd ahead that I was coming. He said not to worry about mailing it in, signed by another office.
My question is, does it sound like he is scamming me into not returning it signed, so I can get a ticket, or is he just being a nice guy about it? He seemed decent enough about it, like he was just doing the other officer a courtesy (who came to the scene as well) and giving me something for it. Honestly, i don't want to change it, i really like the look and light output, i was just going to avoid that township (very small area) at night. Let me know your advice on this situation, please. Thanks in advance. |
