Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

smoger Tri-State Post Whore Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: philly Member #64 iTrader: (1)	thanks again apple :( well i got sick of having no wireless connectivity on my macbook so i set out to find out if anyone was able to fix the issue. i found that downgrading the kernal extension for the wireless card is listed as a fix(scratch that, workaround) to the problem. apparantly it can also cause your computer to not boot at all. thanks again apple. 3 months since this widespread problem popped up and still no fix. i really see why your stuff is worth 2x the cost of pc's __________________ To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater.
