Taking the Subie plunge?
Who would you recommend for a good Subie dealer in SJ? I may be joining the "my pistons go the wrong way" club soon and I want the experience to go as smoothly as possible. I just had a nightmarish drive with the Z in the snow a few days back and I decided its time for a change. I've been reading up on the 07 STI's and aside from the acceleration/hesitation issue (fixed via a tune it seems) the 07 seems like the way to go. Better gearing (no shift into 5th for the 1/4), a bit different turbo, extremely mod friendly and with this Tactrix cable/open source tuning movement I can finally get serious with a car without putting myself in the poor house. PS, I've had a hankering for boost ever since I took a ride in Huff's Rex a while back so you can blame him, though I believe it was engine #1 I experienced so I can only imagine now...
