ZOMBIE CRX: Mrrawwwgghhh

Picked up my 1989 Honda CRX Si in pretty minty condition from a shady local Honda "salesman" in the summer of 03. Yellow wasn't really a color I had wanted at the time, but I love it now.

RIP EM1
I never had the money to spend on mods, as the money I didn't put into college went towards camera gear.

I did put a custom exhaust on the car: 2.25 inch piping from the cat back, with a resonator and an N1 style muffler. Always loved how the car sounded, not ricey at all

My suspension gave out on me while I was on the road in early 2005. I'll say this much, do not beat on your car, it WILL break on you.

I rang in 2006 with a deer impact, and shortly after, the transmission went.

The engine removal was quite a fun time...

At this point, I wanted to go all out and restore the car to make up for never being able to build it.
I picked up numerous OEM trim parts and other pieces, and ordered a B16 swap.
I started filling and shaving the bay, which turned into a long, drawn out hectic ordeal.

I have just primered up the bay, and it will go through winter like this so I can work on areas of the bay whenever necessary. The car should be done sometime in late November.

Mods going on include a JDM B16 with LSD tranny, Koni Yellows and Neuspeed race springs, JK motorsports traction bar, and strut bars for now.

While the CRX was being worked on, I picked up a 1984 Mazda GLC for next to nothing to drive around until the car was done.

1.5 liter engine, 75 horses, 4 speed. It was hella fun to drive around in, until it blew up around 3 weeks later. By some insane chance, I found a professionally built version of the motor for sale on ebay, and another project car developed to steal all my time.

^ After polishing it up.

A month later the engine went in, and I've been driving it around open header scaring the hell out of people. If anyone could help me with a custom exhaust, that would be most excellent.

Thanks for looking, and be glad you have a modern high horsepower car and not a hatchcrap.
