Introducing Myself

Hey all,

I'm Dan, and also otherwise known around circles as "Sinister Subaru." I know, I know, my reputation proceeds me.

Anyway, I drive a 2005 Subaru WRX STi and a 1994 Chevrolet B4C Camaro. I live in Frederick, Maryland, which is about 2 hours from Delaware, or anywhere else near the Tri-State area, however, I do have family that lives in the Wilmington, Delaware area.

Now, here's a bit about me:

As a rambling diatribe, I've been banned from about 3 or 4 forums during my career on the internet, due to my lack of keeping my mouth shut and not being shy about disagreeing. Be forewarned, if I don't agree with something, I'll say it. That doesn't mean I'm going to sit here and insult you, but I'll simply tell you that I disagree, period. That doesn't mean I'm "starting trouble." In fact, most of the people I got into disagreements with on other sites liberally called me names, even though personal insults on my behalf were never delivered; just, "I disagree."

So, on that note, if you're one of these people that can't debate like an adult when someone disagrees with you, or can't stand it when people don't share your opinion, you will not like me very much, and that's fine.

And then there are people that will admire my straight-forward "no bullsh*t" approach. People always know where they stand with me. There is no candy-coating. What you see is what you get. My internet persona is no act. It's me, period.

I can either be your best friend or your worst enemy. The choice is yours. I give everybody a fair shake, and form my opinions of people on my own dealings with them, not someone else's. If someone says, "Don't talk to XXXX, he/she's an assh*le," it isn't going to matter to me. I'll form that opinion on my own, but thanks for the warning.

But this is my final warning. If you ask me for an honest opinion, I will give you one. I will NOT tell you what you want to hear just for the sake of appeasing you. If you're a woman and you ask me if the dress makes your ass look fat, I may just tell you that your ass makes the dress look fat. Although, I would be a bit more tactful about it. Got it?
