motor build... need some help..

Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

boostme05 Noob-Jersey Join Date: Jul 2006 Member #2179 My Ride: 1995 acura integra iTrader: (0)	motor build... need some help.. i have a 1995 acura integra with the b18b1... but i have a b18a1 motor that i want to build up... first question... will it be a straight swap... or will i have to rewire things?... second... i wanna boost the hell out of the engine.. and i know forged interonals is the way to go.. but whats would be the best build up to runthat block at 20 psi?.. i know that im sending the head out to headgames for them to do the full race head... and 3rd... now i need a tranny to beable to take that hp.. and displace it without busting gears.. whats the best way to build up a tranny to handle it? thanks!
