Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

DaveSTi Tri-State Post Whore Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Charlotte Member #1591 iTrader: (0)	Dave's MK7 GTI I've been lucky enough to lease a few VW products and this one is my favorite. It is a 2016 GTI two door with the performance pack. It is the SE trim with a manual transmission and I love it. No options other than the performance pack, but the car comes well equipped. My plans for it are to flash it with an APR tune which will make it almost as quick as the Porsche. Then I'll look at the headlights and suspension since it doesn't have the lighting package or DCC suspension. Will post pictures after work! Heres some pictures. Sometimes I'm not sure which car is more fun to drive on the roads around here to be honest.
