Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

STiGuy06 Tri-State Addict Join Date: Oct 2009 Member #14844 iTrader: (0)	Title question Im trying to get some extra cash on the side to save for a house. I'm parting out a 00 Jetta i got from my neighbor now and its almost done and i'd like to get another car asap to do the same. He had the title but i told him to keep it and shredd it because i was only going to part it out. I also didn't want to spend money on transfering it. Would this be ok for the next car i get? What else should i do if not. I will be paying cash for this like i did with the Jetta. I would need to drive the next car to the house but then it'll be in my driveway under a tarp until its stripped. __________________ *Josh Story Design*
