Anyone familiar with iPad? I need help!

So im thinking about selling my computer to get an iPad with 3G that would replace my computer. I have a little Dell netbook that i use and the ipad is so much better. i just have one question, could i sync my phone and ipad together to transfer music. im just worried if i get rid of my computer that i wont have anything to sync it to and ill be screwed. its not like i would have a computer to sync to my ipad
