Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

olletsocmit Tri-State Addict Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Montgomeryville, PA Member #4210 My Ride: 2008 VW Rabbit iTrader: (1)	Montgomeryville Cops and Tinted Windows. I live in Montgomeryville (Montgomery County) and just got my car tinted. I got 30% but it look A LOT darker. Matches with my friends car that is 20%. Its b/c i do not have a sunroof, so not much light gets in and my car is light silver. It is hard to see in my car. In 3 weeks from now, will it get lighter when it clears up or will it stay this dark. Has anyone in my area had trouble with the cops lately for having your front windows tinted. I have heard stories, but do not know ne one that has had to cut it out.
