Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

most of the MSM board is older people who don't know how, don't want to be bothered, or don't care about working on their car, and most think the car is 100% perfect stock.

My motor blew after having about 120kmiles on it, and 30k of those boosted at 14psi and getting ripped on a lot of those. the piston rings decided to stop working. am i gonna install the meth kit i have before i put a new motor in? no. thats just dumb.

moral of the story, fix your car dammit! I know the TDR lip is $100 and its not alot, but thats $100 you coulda put it towards fixing your car.

If i swap a new motor in before you fix your car i get to kick you in the dick, fair deal? lol
