Jacki's in a coupe again...

And this time, it's getting done right.

Sometime around the holidays I picked up Chaz's old coupe and brought it home. Now, aside from the fact that I have to replace the frame rails and patch up the holes in the floor, this car's good. Before you say anything bad about me or Chaz for selling it in this condition, I knew what I was getting myself into when I bought it.

It's far from perfect and it'll take a lot of work to even get it decent but it's coming along.

Over the weekend Reese put the car on the lift to take measurements for the rails. Oh my. He ripped up the carpet and found the rust had gone through the floor. I'll have someone patch that up this week, since I can't weld.

I have a lot of plans for the car but drifting isn't one of them. It's not going to be driven all the time and it's going to be parked no where near my house.

To-do list:
Patch rust holes in floor
Weld up new rails
Remove everything from and repaint engine bay
Cut quarter panels for flares
Prep and prime car for paint

Coming soon:
Paint
2.5" fender flares
Roof spoiler
Cragar 15x10" wheels
205 50 15 tires
Isis Front Tension Rods
Isis Rear Upper Control Arms
Isis Rear Traction Links
Isis Rear Toe Links
Tein Inner and Outter Tie Rods
Knock off OEM sides (because I'm not as baller as Chaz and can't afford the real ones)

I'll update later tonight or tomorrow. I need to stop by the shop for pictures. Hopefully the rain stops!
