Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

mo_hish Tri-State Aficionado Join Date: Dec 2008 Location: Upper Darby, PA Member #10390 My Ride: VGT S13.5 iTrader: (0)	Lightened flywheel or stock Ok, I'm upgrading my flywheel/clutch setup on my 240 (ka24de). I'm currently running the white bunny setup which uses a 240mm flywheel and a 300zx clutch. This is 15mm bigger than the 225mm stock clutch and is a bit heavier. I'm upgrading to a 250mm rb flywheel and 350z clutch. I bought a stock flywheel, and then came across an awesome deal on a lightweight one that I couldn't pass up, so I have both. The car is my daily driver, but will see racing and launching about half a dozen nights a month give or take. My question is will the bigger surface area of the flywheel make launching the lightweight flywheel any easier (the clutch is full faced so I'll be able to slip it), or should I just put the stock flywheel on?
