Its time to make a switch...

Hey guys. Its been a while since I have posted here, but im on from time to time to check out your pics and cars. I currently have a Pentax DSLR, K100DS and a few lenses and accessories. Pentax is my first DSLR system and I love my camera to death! I have learned so much with my K100DS, but I have reached the point where I want to take my photography to the next level. I don't think Pentax is the system to suit my needs. My needs are being able to shoot in low light situations, fast AF, High ISO quality Pics, dependability, and local support just in case I have to rent some equipment.

I have been doing research on Nikon and Canon for a while now, and im leaning more towards Canon today (my thoughts change like once a week!)
My questions are; which Canon body would be a good entry level pro camera?
Im currently looking into the 50D. Im thinking I would start with a xxD body and work my way up to a 7D or 1D body. Any advice would help out.

Thanks

Corey
