BOV Vacuum Line Question
need to know if the BOV vacuum line should be free flowing [engine off] and have a vacuum at idle
the reason i ask is because i just installed a perrin TMIC and now im having two issues 1. im not hitting my target boost which i may just need a ECU rest and a QUICK relearn 2. im not hearing my BOV/Recirc it used to be loud but now its barely noticeable and when it was cool out tonight on my drive home i heard what sounded like flutter possibly compressor surge i am thinking that i may have pinched off a line during the install??? because when i got home i disconnected the vacuum line going to the BOV and had nothing then with the eng off i couldnt blow or suck through the line. i thought that ran straight to the manifold? their isnt a check valve on that line,is their ?? any help would be much appreciated |
