Rear brake upgrade idea......

Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

So yea....I'm being convinced to put porsche 944 rear 4 pot brembos to compliment my 4 pot STI front brembos.....obviously the 4 pots in the rear are much smaller pistons then the front. The stock STI rears are 2 large pistons, the 944's are 4 small pistons...... They look like this: The stock STI setup, stock rears on the right: I'm wondering if their will be much of a difference between the two.... The porsche 4 piston pad size is about double the stock STI rears pad size. I'm just wondering if this effects brake bias and what not. Any opinions?
