Rear brake upgrade idea......
So yea....I'm being convinced to put porsche 944 rear 4 pot brembos to compliment my 4 pot STI front brembos.....obviously the 4 pots in the rear are much smaller pistons then the front.
The stock STI rears are 2 large pistons, the 944's are 4 small pistons...... They look like this: The stock STI setup, stock rears on the right: ![]() I'm wondering if their will be much of a difference between the two.... The porsche 4 piston pad size is about double the stock STI rears pad size. I'm just wondering if this effects brake bias and what not. Any opinions? |
