Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

I got a call from a close friend of mine giving me the low down on why the police haven't been giving us problems. Out of Respect for him and what he's done for us we have to stop going out to our previous spot. Basically, they thought we were someone else, someone who has an agreement with the local authorities about driving in that spot. The agreement is that they do it when the lights are off and among other things. From now on venture out there at your own risk. I'm not taking the fall for any of you guys getting thrown in the back of a police car. Sorry.
