How to Remove Baked-on "Dealer's Sticker" from trunk
Detailers, I need help!
So we all know (and hate) those damn dealer-applied stickers they put on the trunk of your car before they sell it to you. Normally, that is my first mod, to rip those things off. lol. I've debadged plenty of cars before, so I know the fishing line and Goo-gone/3M adhesive remover routine... Problem: My car is 12 years old, and has probably had the sticker on for that long. Aka. the thing is completely baked on there. Like, I try to peel it off, and its just like a part of the paint. haha. Anyone have any tricks or suggestions to get this damn thing off within destroying my paint and driving myself crazy? I'm due for a paint job soon enough anywho, so I could just wait and let a pro do it, but they would probably charge me cuz its suck a PITA. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks every1. |
