Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

ClutchMasterF1 Tri-State Aficionado Join Date: Jul 2006 Member #2287 My Ride: 1989 240sx - Long Gone, 1996 Accord V6 - Totaled, 03' Maxima iTrader: (0)	02' Passat/01' A4 Sup guys, i've been looking at some audi's and vdubs lately and i don't know which i should buy. i'm looking for some suggestions. 02 Passat 1.8t 5speed; 96k miles on it or 01 A4 1.8t 5speed; 92k miles. Reliability wise, where do these cars stand? Honestly, if i buy one of them, the mods i plan to do are minimal; giac chip, intake, exhaust, nothing more than that really. I'd appreciate any suggestions/advice. Thanks
