The SOMEDAY Projects

I figured I'd start a thread to show you what projects I have lined up for whenever I get around to them... I imagine some of you have them as well, if so, post them up.

First up, 1965 Volkswagen Beetle with a baja kit... I want to turn it into a RallyCross/RallyAmerica car. It was parked after it started throwing flames out of the exhaust and eventually died... probably a timing problem and crap falling into it since there isn't a cover on it, but now that it's been sitting for a couple years (first in a barn, now in a field) i'm sure it will need more work than just that... it's my uncle's car, but it's been promised to me.

Secondly is my father's 1976 Dodge Dart Swinger... it was my first daily driver until I got my Ghia on the road... first 2 pics are how it looked when I was driving it, other pics are how it looks now... I checked out the build sheet recently and was unhappy to find out that it was originally a slant-6 and it had a soft-top on it... it was originally baby-crap brown metallic, I like the purple more, but I think when it gets fixed, I'll go with canary yellow with a black stripe around the back... it has a 318 in it now, the engine on the floor is a rebuilt 360 from a 78 (i think) Dodge Powerwagon which my dad started to restore and then sold to a friend. It needs a new k-frame, front section of sub-frame, heater core, bunch of other stuff... also needs a trans rebuild, but if I have my way, I'm going to just swap the automatic for a 4-speed. Interior looks great, the headliner split in the corners, so I'll replace that... the stitching on one of the seats split, but it won't be difficult to repair.

so, what's on your to-do list?
