lights & siren question
today while crossin an intersection a officer came through the intersection from my right side and my view was blocked due to a car in the right lane. i see the vehicle next to me stop hard so i automatically go for my brakes figuring something is going on. a second later an officer swings in front of me, with lights on but no siren
my question is when crossing an intersection does the officer have to use both lights and sirens. i ask this because i know from being a firefighter that its law for us when we use our red lights that sirens also have to be used, but with blue lights like in my car, sirens are illegal. im just curious to see if that is the same with police officers also since they have both red and blue lights Thank you, Ryan |
